First quarter results stated:
Retail sales revenue grew 11.7% in the first quarter but were hit by adverse weather conditions in the U.K. in the final week
In the 13 weeks ended March 4, the online supermarket generated retail revenue of £363.4mln compared with £325.4mln in the 13 weeks ended Feb. 26
Ocado said the impact of the adverse weather conditions in the final week was equivalent to nearly 1% of sales over the quarter
Average orders per week grew 11% to 280,000 while the average order size fell 0.4% to £110.45 in the period
